Brazing

Complete range of high-quality brazing filler metals

Selectarc is the only French manufacturer with its own foundry dedicated to high-temperature brazing, mastering the entire production chain and ensuring performance, reliability, and consistent quality. By integrating all steps – formulation design, continuous casting, extrusion, drawing, and custom work – Selectarc guarantees reliable, reproducible, and perfectly traceable brazing filler metals, from sourcing to the finished product.

Copper-Phosphor Alloys

Range of brazing materials for copper metals developed by Selectarc for Copper-Copper and Copper-Brass assemblies.

Ideal for plumbing, heating applications, and all copper fluid transport circuits.

Copper-Phosphor-Silver Alloys

Range of brazing materials developed by Selectarc. The addition of Silver provides high mechanical properties: better electrical conductivity, increased ductility of the alloy.

Ideal for: heat exchangers, ventilation systems, electrical connections, air conditioning

Silver Alloys

Range of high-silver content ternary or quaternary brazing materials that provide excellent capillarity and high mechanical properties.
This range includes the TBW technology (Tubular Brazing Wire - rods with integrated brazing flux) developed and patented by Selectarc.

Ideal for: HVAC, food, sanitary, household appliances, jewelry, cryogenics, etc.

Aluminum Alloys

A range of solders covering the majority of brazing applications on Aluminum and other materials. It also includes TBW (Tubular Brazing Wire) technology, a tubular wire with non-corrosive flux incorporated that has a low melting point.

Ideal for heat exchangers, household appliances, electrical connections Steel/Aluminum,

SELECTARC has developed and patented a unique and innovative solution, the TBW (Tubular Brazing Wire) to optimize your brazing operations.

Made in France, the TBW is a 2-in-1 product that combines a seamless extruded tube with incorporated flux, thus offering very high fluidity and exceptional mechanical properties.

The advantages of TBW brazing are numerous:

  • High performance : Excellent corrosion resistance and patented process ensuring optimized alloy consumption
  • Operational ease : Ideal for automating brazing operations, it does not require additional flux, thus reducing post-brazing cleaning
  • Operator safety : No direct contact with the flux, less smoke, and no splashes, ensuring better safety for the operator

Applications are varied : TBW brazing is ideal for the HVAC, renewable energies, generators, transformers, and electric motors

Couverture d'un guide sur le brasage en industrie avec logo et image de flamme symbolisant le brasage en industrie

Discover the guide on brazing in industry, co-authored with Bulane, Selectarc and Cetim, three major players in the field of brazing and industrial assembly. This document provides an in-depth overview of brazing techniques, an essential process for many industries. It is an indispensable reference for mastering and optimizing brazing processes for all industry professionals.

This guide thoroughly covers all aspects of industrial brazing, including definitions, techniques, materials and gases used, as well as standards and safety. It also explores the relevant industrial sectors and recent innovations in the field.

4 key points of this guide:

  • Process optimization : highlighting advanced techniques to optimize industrial brazing operations and achieve better productivity
  • Increased operator safety : presentation of different brazing methods (induction, oxy-hydrogen flame, etc.) as well as training and standards applicable to brazing
  • Innovative technology : advantages of TBW technology (Tubular Brazing Wire, patented process) in terms of reducing smoke emissions and optimizing brazing operations
  • Environmental sustainability : exploration of sustainable brazing processes addressing the crucial challenges of decarbonizing industry, such as Dyoflam brazing stations, allowing for a 94% reduction in the environmental impact of brazing operations.

Environmental commitment

In accordance with EU Regulation No. 494/2011 of May 20, 2011, Selectarc has eliminated the use of lead-free solders containing cadmium, offering safe and effective alternatives. To see our entire range of brazing products, check out our brazing overview brochure.
